Trollius (Ranunculaceae). Nikolaeva (ref. 10) reported that several species had germination stimulated by GA-3. Robert and Brigitte Stewart and myself have confirmed these results with several species. However, the seedlings decline in vigor after producing a true leaf or two so that at present GA-3 cannot be recommended for the production of Trollius plants. T. chinensis:germ. 40(6% in 3rd m) and none at 70.
