Phyllodoce (Ericaceae). P. nipponica seeds received in January required light at 70, but this was removed by a preliminary 3 m at 40. The data are 70L(90% in 2-4 w), 70D(none), 40- 70D(90% in 2-4 w), and 40-70L(90% in 2-4 w). A prior 4 w in 70D had no effect.
