Mitchella (Rubiaceae). M. repens germ. best in 40-70(5%)-40-70(36% in 1- 11 w)-40-70(6%)-40-70(25%) and 70(5%)-40-70(14%)-40-70(23%)-40-70(33%)-40- 70(2%). Note the extended multicycle germination. Seed DS 6 m at 70 germ. 70-40- 70(4%) and 40-70-40-70(5%) showing that DS is not tolerated. Light had no effect. The cotyledons developed in 1-2 wafter germination.
