Codonopsis (Campanulaceae). C. clematidea germ. 70(50-60% in 3rd w) using two samples of commercial seed. However, wild collected seed germ. 70(3%)-40-70 and 40(48%)-70(6%). It is probable that the commercial seed and the wild collected seed were different species.
